Tired of seeing you "Yesterday"
You stayed back so long I knew you were so wrong
You took me places I probably didn't belong
From east to west, we went on a quest
Day by day I thought I conquered the best
Not until I realized life is a continuous test.
We live it in phases getting through many places
We met pretty faces faking undue ecstasy.
Looking back to you "Yesterday"

Expectation that you never met
Apparently I have to take it off my chest
I thought together we belong
Forever has always been my song
But now, I know better
Tomorrow for me is what matters
And my desire is to always aim higher.

And plumb the depth of my heart.
My scattered thought are digging for words
Yet the pain is affecting my vocal chords
I'm tired of existing, I can't but want living
Still I'm in search of Tomorrow, even when today will not die
I will spread my wings and fly
Looking into the sky to take a new dive
I will ask for more Grace and Mercy
Until i find "Tomorrow" wherever it might be hiding.
